I have been a lifelong resident of Effingham County.  I was one of the last kids to go to Watson Grade School, and enjoyed my years of high school in the “old” EHS.  After attending Lakeland College and SIUC I married Tami, my highschool sweetheart in 1994. About a year later I started at the Sheriff’s Department.  I have two wonderful kids, Tyler and Rachel.  I am a member of Christ’s Church of Effingham, where our family has attended for the last 10 years. I enjoy spending time with my family, woodworking, cooking, and I have recently been dabbling in photography.
